1. Not every listing agent is the same, and not
every agent from the same agency will give you the same value in services. Love
the agency, hate the agent, that’s easy just switch agents.
2. Realtors/Real Estate Agents pay their own marketing fees, NO not the company. Some companies may assist but in the end it’s the agent who makes the call.
3. Not every elder agent is as seasoned as a new agent, and not every new agent is seasoned, trust your gut. Research skills and life experience counts for a lot!
4. Lots of inventory can be a gift and a curse. A gift for getting/gaining client perks of selling our own listings, curse if we have a home or homes that are in need of our undivided attention. Catch 22!
5. Personality is everything. A bitter agent will lose a buyer, and a bitter agent can... No will sour a deal, your deal!
Bonus:
When putting your home on the market staying with
the same agent for long periods of time can be costly. Give them a fair shot,
then try bringing on a new hire for the job. Yes, your agent may have tried
everything they could think of, with the key word being “they”! Not everyone thinks the same, a new person may
inspire new ideas and tap into a whole new level of marketing potential, again
learn to trust your gut!
LOL... Okay, okay maybe 5 things plus one more! ;)
